STATEMENT
MISSION
Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) was the third president of the United States (1801-1809), the principal author of the Declaration of Independence, and one of the most beloved and revered Founding Fathers of the United States of America.

He founded the Democratic-Republican party to stand in opposition to the policies of Alexander Hamilton, specifically that central banking and corruption be built into American politics lest it should be unable to function with the monarchies of Europe. The Democratic-Republican Party stood for states’ rights in opposition to the powerful central government the Federalists were building.
